While our rescue does not believe in feeding the kill pens with dollars to keep the cycle going, we were told Giselle’s bail had been paid and asked to pick her up simply. Bail “wasn’t” completely made, and we picked her up, hoping to rehome here quickly (as we were told she was very broke). While she is a very sweet mare, she is definitely not one that has acclimated to human pressure.

She worked for eight months, and much thought was put into how to proceed with her. She was so nervous and always moving “away” from people.

We decided to let her run with Smoke & Fire for a few months and potentially bring her back to train her, depending on what “she” tells us is right for her. Giselle is early teens.
