At Reality’s Chance horse rescue and sanctuary, when horses come in, we decide on rehabilitation and adoption, or they will find permanent sanctuary with us. Sanctuary horses need sponsors who will visit & care for them. You can make an appointment to visit adoptable horses at any time!

A Message From Our Founder
Started in 2010 and established as a 501(c)3 in 2014, Reality’s Chance Rescue & Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of horses in need. “Reality’s Place,” an off-the-track Standardbred, was the inspiration for its creation. The loss of this amazing war horse due to Colitis, which some believe was from stress related to his racing days (along with severe hoof and tendon damage), has been the reason for the passion felt by all who work and volunteer with the organization. He is our inspiration and is with us every day!
